In December 1965, a group of men at Harrison Radiator Division of General Motors Corporation organized "The Harrison Men's Glee Club." Sponsorship of the glee club was maintained by Harrison Radiator until 1982. The Glee Club was then reorganized as a community men's chorus and has continued ever since as "The Lock City Glee Club." The glee club has been proud and happy to be a member of "The Associated Male Choruses of America" since March, 1981.
The purpose of The Lock City Glee Club is to share a love of music with others, along with enjoying great fun and fellowship. We average about fifteen performances a year throughout Western New York with a goal of providing quality entertainment for our audiences.
Rehearsals are held every Monday night from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Christ Episcopal Church, 7145 Fieldcrest Drive, Lockport (except during the months of July and August.) We welcome all new members! The glee club is available to perform for your organization, group or meeting. Call or write an officer of the club for further information.
