The Cold Spring Area Maennerchor (Cold Spring, Minnesota) was formed in 1937. The singers come from all "walks of life" with common interests of enjoying good music and fellowship. The Maennerchor provides Christmas and Spring Dinner concerts for the community and are contracted to sing for various service groups in the surrounding areas. The chorus also sings at churches through the area. The Maennerchor has traveled to Europe and Canada presenting concerts during these travels including a performance at St. Peter's in Rome for a Saturday evening mass. The chorus is directed by Tim Jarnot and accompanied by Ingred Loewen. |
